SkyShows was formed in 2021 and after developing our own drone, Pixel, in 2023 we became the first company in Scotland, and still one of only a handful of companies in Britain, approved by the Civil Aviation Authority to fly drone light shows.
SkyShows is proud to hold the records of not only flying the first drone light show in Scotland in front of a live audience, but also having performed the first ever drone light show in Northern Ireland.

Drone light shows are the aerial entertainment of the future. They are more flexible and adaptable than fireworks, not to mention being more sustainable.

Experienced and Approved
Staffed and flown by a team with over 1500 flying hours, SkyShows operates under a highly coveted Operational Authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority.
This allows us to perform drone light shows anywhere in the UK. Shows will take place in any location, and at any time, provided we are able to meet our stringent safety requirements for operation of a fleet of unmanned aircraft.
Safety
Safety is our watchword and we apply extensive and detailed systems on our drones, our flight management software and in the physical organisation of our operating area to ensure maximum safety for everybody.
In addition, we are fully insured and are even able to increase our existing £1m public liability insurance if necessary for specific events and displays.
